About
2a studio is an architectural practice based in Aachen, founded by two partners with a solid background experience in international renowned offices. The practice has been involved in projects of various scales from residential and their extensions to public buildings and interior design and urban planning. In addition to its broad orientation, the office is characterized by its openness to collaboration and a close relationship to research and teaching.
Our work creates architecture with a strong focus on design, construction and realization, considering the context, the users and the costs in order to develop high-quality solutions for each individual building task.
We consider the use of contemporary, ecological and resource-saving construction methods to be a matter of course.
2a studio was founded by Katharina and Lucas Schrader in 2020. In 2024 they were appointed to the BDA.
